Bonners Ferry, ID – At their Annual Golf Tournament, Fry Healthcare Foundation (FHF) donated $26,000 to Boundary Community Hospital (BCH) towards the purchase of new Digital Tomosynthesis (3D Mammogram) equipment. Screening appointments using the new 3D Mammogram equipment will be available beginning October 1 to coincide with national Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The BCH Board of Trustees and FHF Board will be working together on a capital campaign to raise the remaining $285,000 needed to complete the purchase of this life-saving cancer screening equipment.
