Nutrition counseling is patient-centered with emphasis on individual interventions and solutions to help you meet your nutrition goals. RDNs take a realistic and practical approach to assist you in developing sustainable long-term habits.

Many insurance companies do cover some or all of the cost of nutrition counseling, also referred to as medical nutrition therapy (MNT). However, because plans vary greatly, it is recommended that patients contact their insurance company regarding coverage for medical nutrition therapy. If you are interested in nutrition services offered at BCH, talk to your provider about getting a referral. After we receive a referral, we will contact you to schedule an appointment!
