Heather Sunshine Bartlett, MSN, PMHNP
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Seeing Patients 6 years and up
My name is Heather, though many people know me by my middle name, “Sunshine.”
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, she is passionate about helping people move from simply struggling to truly thriving. Sunshine believes mental health treatment should not stop once someone reaches their baseline — the goal is to help individuals regain joy, confidence, resilience, and the ability to live their best life.

Her office is a safe and welcoming space where people can feel comfortable being themselves without judgment. She believes in encouragement, compassion, and positive regard, and strives to build collaborative relationships that help patients feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Sunshine works in conjunction with existing supports, such as medical providers and therapists, to help optimize medication regimens, lifestyle habits, and coping strategies in ways that support overall wellness and daily functioning.
She is a long-term resident of Boundary County and deeply values this community and the wonderful people who live here. When not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, with friends and family, and in her garden.
