Fry Healthcare FoundationThe mission of the Fry Healthcare Foundation is to serve as a non-profit agency dedicated to collecting and dispersing funds, goods, and services to meet the ongoing needs of Boundary Community Hospital and Extended Care Facility. The Foundation recognizes the need for networking life-long healthcare facilities and services in a rural county such as ours. The Foundation assists individuals and organizations wanting to support and contribute to our healthcare facilities whether it is financially or in kind (time and effort). Gifts received by the Foundation are used to purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment, finance facility construction and renovation, and fund ongoing programs and services at the hospital.

Organization

Currently, Fry Healthcare Foundation is incorporated in the State of Idaho Code under Section 501(c) (3) of Internal Revenue Code. It is composed of a nine-member Board of Directors with ex-officio representation from the hospital and community.

The Foundation’s founding members include John Brussman, Jim Burkholder, Jr., Marion Davidson, Bill Florea, Helen Marx, Bill McClintock, Eula Sims, Larry Nelson, Ben Studer, and Pete Wilson.

Each year the foundation has two major fundraising events – the Festival of Hearts in February and a Golf Tournament in September.

The Fry Healthcare Foundation and our community have raised $1.2 Million to benefit the hospital over the past 21 years. Thank you to the community for your continued support of the Foundation and its fundraising efforts on behalf of Boundary Community Hospital.

Individuals, groups, and organizations interested in or participating with the Foundation in any manner are asked to contact any member of the foundation or the Hospital Administrator.

Boundary Community Corn Hole Tournament

Fry Healthcare Foundation (FHF) is hosting a special Corn Hole Tournament to benefit Boundary Community Hospital during Memorial Day weekend in the beautiful downtown Bonners Ferry. Sponsor Registration through April 22. Team Registration begins April 23. 

Annual Golf Tournament

The Fry Healthcare Foundation’s annual Golf Tournament fundraiser will be the Friday after Labor Day each year at Mirror Lake Golf Course in Bonners Ferry.

Festival of Hearts

Fry Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors hosts an annual Festival of Hearts fundraiser on a Saturday in February at the Kootenai River Inn in Bonners Ferry.  This Valentine’s Gala features a four-course dinner prepared by the Kootenai River Inn’s celebrated Chefs followed by the popular “Dessert Dash” where tables compete to choose a dessert from an array of locally crafted sweet confections. The evening rounds out with a live auction highlighting a variety of items.
