Veryl Lindsay Stuffed Critter Memorial Fundelder-care-lamb

Established by the Lindsay family through the Fry Healthcare Foundation in memory of Veryl Lindsay, who worked as a Registered Nurse at Boundary Community Hospital from 1954-1986, the donated funds are used to purchase stuffed animals for Emergency Department patients or family members, children hospitalized for care, or dementia patients who need comfort. Fry Healthcare Foundation is working with Sugar Plum Floral in Bonners Ferry to supply the critters to the Hospital.

Due to infection prevention requirements the hospital can no longer accept stuffed animal donations. Funds raised through this fund will be used to purchase new animals properly packaged to meet the safety standards.
