What Is PET Imaging?

PET scans are a powerful, non-invasive imaging technique that captures detailed, functional images at the cellular level. Unlike CT or MRI scans that focus on structure, PET imaging detects early cellular changes—often before symptoms or structural abnormalities appear—making it a critical tool for early diagnosis.
