If you have been diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes, support and education can make a big difference. The Boundary County Diabetes Education Support Group provides a place to connect with others, share ideas, and learn how to better manage your health.

Why Join?

The more you know about diabetes, the better you can manage it and prevent complications. Networking with others who understand your experience helps you learn how health-related issues can affect your care.

Topics often include:

  • Nutrition and meal planning

  • Exercise and activity

  • Reading food labels

  • Dental health

  • Practical ideas and suggestions from group members

Who Can Attend?

Anyone is welcome, including:

  • People with diabetes or pre-diabetes

  • Family members

  • Caregivers

  • When: Second Monday of each month, September through May, at 2:00 pm
