Forget Me Not Capital Campaign

Breast cancer has affected many families in Boundary County. 3D Mammography improves the chance of catching breast cancer early so that we can save lives. The Boundary Community Hospital (BCH) Board of Trustees is asking the community for help funding Tomosynthesis (3D Mammogram) equipment recently purchased to provide this life-saving cancer screening for local women. BCH uses the same protocols and the same radiologists to review the mammogram screening images so there is no need to travel to other facilities in Sandpoint or Coeur d’Alene. In fact, Boundary County has one of the lowest screening rates for annual mammograms in the State of Idaho. Chances are someone in your life will be affected by breast cancer, so let’s be proactive and promote annual screenings. All donations are welcome. Consider making a pledge or giving a gift. “For the ONE” Gifts of $1,000 honoring the life of a family member or friend will be recognized on a special plaque in the Boundary Community Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Department.
