Why study for CNA Certification?
Many advantages exist for both men and women as Certified Nursing Assistants. Instructor Kris Patterson explains, “They are the backbone of the healthcare system.” A CNA has a wide-range of employment options. Employers hire CNAs to work in hospitals, assisted living homes, nursing homes, home care agencies, rehabilitation centers, doctor’s offices, outpatient medical and surgical offices, hospices, respite care, group homes, and in schools. Choices available to CNAs include working with children, with the elderly, and with any age in-between.
Spring Semester April – June 2021 – Dates TBD
Classes held Tuesdays and Thursdays (days) in Bonners Ferry at the Fry Healthcare Education Center (on Kaniksu Street across from the main hospital building). Tuition is $875 which includes the class instruction plus a book. Written and skills test for certification to be paid by each student.
